Inside Ammortal, a New Wellness Machine That’s Used by NFL Athletes, Luxury Hotel Guests

The Ammortal Chamber combines modalities like red light, molecular hydrogen and more into one experience. It’s seeing early interest from the Denver Broncos, among other big names
The wellness and recovery market has become crowded with gadgets from red light beds to PEMF mats to breathwork apps and more. This new wellness era is exciting, but it also leaves many enthusiasts with a fundamental question: how can you fit everything into one routine?
Ammortal has an answer: combine multiple modalities into a single experience that improves physical performance, calms the nervous system, supports cellular health and more.
That’s exactly what the company has done with its Ammortal Chamber, a new wellness product that’s seeing early interest from NFL and MLB teams, as well as some of the world’s top hospitality properties.
Created by a team of engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs, the Ammortal Chamber combines modalities including red light therapy, pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF), vibroacoustic sound therapy and molecular hydrogen, all of which come together inside a futuristic-looking machine with design elements borrowed from NASA.
Ammortal grounds the next-gen experience with soothing music while a friendly voiceover guides users through, providing breathwork and meditation instructions along with general support. Sessions are personalized, and last either 15, 25 or 50 minutes.
The idea, according to Ammortal co-founder and CEO Brian Le Gette, is to put users into a state of “supreme calm” so they’re more receptive – physically, mentally and emotionally – to the recovery modalities on offer.
“We’re pulling together what we think of as the perfect stack and putting it into a machine that prepares you to receive that stack – we call it ‘mind-body receptivity,’ all wrapped in an enjoyable experience,” Le Gette tells ATN. “The true secret is that combination.”

The Benefits of Stacking Wellness Tech
Ammortal claims its Chamber can help with everything from anxiety and skin health to sports performance and mental sharpness.
“We’ve been embedded with baseball teams, and they have games they can’t explain; they’re swinging the bat in a way that indicates mental acuity is up, not just physical acuity,” Le Gette says.
While Le Gette cautions that Ammortal “is a wellness product, not a medical device,” he says the modalities it offers are backed by solid science and research.
“One session in you’ll feel better,” he says. “After three sessions, you’ll start to notice a performance difference – it could be sleep, thinking or athletic performance.”
“If you’re doing this on a regular basis, you’re going to start to look better,” he adds, pointing to red light’s demonstrated ability to boost collagen production.
Le Gette isn’t the only one who’s highly bullish on Ammortal.
The owner of Padel United Sports Club in Cresskill, New Jersey, claims the machine helped regrow his hair, improve his sleep habits and lead to better overall energy levels.
Pro Sports, Luxury Brands Get on Board
These claims may seem over-the-top or too good to be true, but Ammortal has some impressive early backers who believe in the product’s potential.
The company has partnerships with professional sports teams including the NFL’s Denver Broncos, and it’s received funding support from athletes including San Francisco Giants third baseman Matt Chapman, who also serves on Ammortal’s athlete advisory board.
Ammortal also has also inked distribution deals that place its machines inside the Proper Hotel in Santa Monica, California, at the Yellowstone Club, a ski and golf resort in Montana, and at select SWTHZ locations. Ammortal Chambers can also be found inside fitness-focused facilities like Padel United and the Infinity Club in Mahwah, New Jersey.

Out of beta mode and in official production for several months now, Ammortal is planning to ramp up its distribution. The company intends to place its machines inside more luxury hotels, wellness centers and fitness facilities across the country, while pursuing additional partnerships with pro sports teams and leagues.
Coming to a Home Near You?
The company also sees significant potential for its direct-to-consumer business. An Ammortal Chamber retails for $160,000, but Le Gette believes there are plenty of high-net-worth individuals interested in buying the product to save time in their wellness routines.
“There’s nothing like the ability to take two and a half hours worth of tech and therapies and squeeze that into 25 minutes,” he says.
Ammortal also sees a big opportunity to sell to everyday fitness consumers – if they can’t afford to place a Chamber inside their homes just yet, they’ll at least want to experience it at their local gym or country club.
“There’s a direct correlation of people who try the experience that then acquire the experience,” Ammortal partner and chief growth officer Curtis Christopherson tells ATN.
“We have two mobile air streams that literally travel across North America to do pop-up activations or go on-site activations for trial experiences with professional sports teams,” Christopherson adds. “We know that if we’re able to have people experience the Chamber, the likelihood of them wanting it is significantly greater.”
