Pvolve is expanding to Kentucky with a new studio signing in the Louisville area—marking the functional movement fitness franchise’s first location in the state.

The brand now has over 40 studios in development, fueled in part by A-lister, advisor, and Pvolve devotee Jennifer Aniston.

Aniston’s star power has been instrumental for Pvolve, resulting in a 125% increase in franchise inquiries and a 650% boost in branded searches shortly after the former “Friends” star endorsed the science-based workout and joined the brand last year.

Local couple Karsen and Clay Thornton are behind the upcoming Pvolve Kentucky studio.

“Pvolve’s innovative approach to fitness aligns perfectly with our vision for promoting health and wellness in our community,” the couple said in a joint statement. “We recognized a need for a program that enhances physical strength and supports overall well-being. Bringing Pvolve to Louisville allows us to offer a unique fitness solution that empowers individuals to reach their goals safely and effectively. If there’s one message we want to convey, it’s that Pvolve is all about ‘moving better, feeling stronger,’ and we can’t wait to help our community experience that transformation.”

Pvolve President Julie Cartwright says the expansion into Louisville is an exciting milestone for the brand and is enthusiastic about welcoming the Thorntons as franchise partners.

“Their extensive business backgrounds and genuine passion for health and fitness make them the perfect fit to introduce Pvolve’s fresh and effective approach to more individuals’ fitness journeys,” Cartwright said. “Being the first Pvolve studio in Kentucky makes this expansion even more special.”

Pvolve is also opening a studio in Boston, signaling the functional fitness brand’s entry into Massachusetts. Although the exact location hasn’t been chosen, the studio is set to open next year in either Wellesley, Needham, Newton, or Brookline.

Meanwhile, Aniston is now headlining a new brand campaign, where she credits Pvolve for its strength-building results that keep her healthy and active.

“After training with Pvolve for almost four years, I’ve learned there’s so much we can do to counteract the natural changes our bodies experience, and with the Pvolve Method, we can become stronger than ever,” Aniston said.
