ISSA Launches On-Demand Recruiting Solution for Fitness Operators
Fitness facilities can now access over 5,000 certified ISSA members and current students for staffing needs
The International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), centered on online fitness and wellness education, has launched an on-demand recruiting solution for fitness facilities looking to hire staff such as trainers, instructors, and coaches. The recruiting solution is also ideal for personal trainers seeking a career path.
The announcement means that fitness clubs, studios, and facilities can access over 5,000 engaged and recently-certified ISSA members and current students, receiving curated candidate lists based on skills and geography.
ISSA says no long-term payment commitment or contract is necessary to access the recruiting database.
“This is a complete game changer for anyone looking to hire fitness professionals,” said Craig Bradley, ISSA’s Chief Growth Officer. “Connecting to candidates has never been more efficient or cost effective.”
Johnny August, Manager of Strategic Business Partnerships, added that the new offering helps in an environment where hiring needs change based on the pace of new member enrollments, traffic, and personal training demands.
“We acknowledge that operators/managers may need to shift gears quickly,” said August. “ISSA’s new Recruiting Solution solves for that, offering an on-demand pay-as-you-go recruiting option that is also highly customized.”
By connecting fitness operators with fitness pros instantly, finding the perfect fitness talent is easier than ever, says ISSA.
“We’re trying to make the world a better, healthier place by training and certifying fitness professionals. We have to connect the fitness pro to meaningful work – or, our job isn’t done,” said ISSA CEO Andrew Wyant. “ISSA is the matchmaker here that connects the two, helping both parties. That’s why we are thrilled to launch our new Recruiting Solution. Together, we can solve the fitness industry staffing challenge and connect the professional to the job of their dreams.”
