Oracle Red Bull Racing Series Highlights Women in Sports & Engineering

The five-part “Driven Beyond Limits” series celebrates the contributions of female engineers in the world of Formula One racing

Formula One (F1) team Oracle Red Bull Racing and their official team partner, Rokt, a leader in e-commerce technology, have come together to launch a five-part video series celebrating the contributions of female engineers in the world of racing.

The series, “Driven Beyond Limits,” highlights the women who work behind the scenes of Formula One. The two companies aim to foster greater diversity in F1 racing and STEM.

“Driven Beyond Limits” showcases individual interviews conducted by Rokt’s chief product officer Srishti Gupta, with five female engineers from Oracle Red Bull Racing. The interviews provide insight into their respective career journeys, highlighting the collaboration, creativity and passion that fuels the magic of every F1 race.

“We are proud to see the engineers and machinists of Oracle Red Bull Racing coming together to share their career journeys helping to educate and inspire others about the many possibilities for women in STEM,” said Zoe Mills, head of employee experiences at Red Bull. “Each interview is a unique look into the collaboration, creativity and passion that exists behind the magic of each Formula One race.”

This video series is the latest in a series of initiatives by Rokt and Oracle Red Bull Racing aimed at promoting diversity in the world of F1 and STEM. In June, the sides launched “Rokt the Rig,” a women’s sim racer development program, which provides guidance and support to female F1 sim racers. They also hosted an International Women in Engineering Day networking event, bringing together women interested in engineering to learn from industry professionals.

The series kicked off with an interview featuring Hannah Schmitz, principal strategy engineer at Oracle Red Bull Racing. Schmitz’s interview, which was launched on Rokt’s YouTube channel on October 4, 2023, provides a unique insight into her role and journey in motorsports engineering and demonstrates what is necessary to excel in the highly competitive world of F1.

“We partnered with Oracle Red Bull Racing to enable greater diversity in engineering, sports, and business, and these episodes are a great way to showcase the immense talent of these women,” Gupta said of the series.
