Kim Kardashian’s Skims Teams With LOVB As Loungewear Partner

Kim Kardashian’s Skims is joining forces with League One Volleyball as its official loungewear partner, expanding the $4B brand’s growing presence in women’s sports

The apparel brand has signed on as the official loungewear, intimates and sleepwear partner of League One Volleyball (LOVB), aligning with the women’s sports league as interest in volleyball surges across the U.S.

The deal follows LOVB’s pro league debut in January 2025 and its $100 million funding round last fall, led by women-founded private equity firm Atwater Capital, with continued backing from Ares Management and Left Lane Capital.

To date, LOVB has raised $160 million from a roster of high-profile investors, including Lindsey Vonn, Candace Parker, Amy Schumer, Chelsea Handler, and Kevin Durant’s Boardroom. In 2024 alone, the league doubled its youth programming, expanded to 58 clubs across 26 states, and awarded nearly $750,000 in financial aid through the LOVB Foundation.

As part of the Skims partnership, the brand will be integrated into LOVB’s community events, league-wide campaigns and digital platforms. The collaboration will also spotlight the voices of female athletes and tap into volleyball’s growing visibility ahead of the LA28 Olympics, while connecting with players at every level.

“Partnering with Skims is an incredible milestone for our league and clubs — their dedication to empowering women and celebrating confidence aligns perfectly with our mission to elevate our athletes of every age and accelerate growth of the sport of volleyball,” LOVB chief business officer Michelle McGoldrick said. “Together, we’re not only supporting our remarkable athletes on their journey to becoming household names, but also helping to inspire the next generation of players and fans.”

Kardashian, Skims’ co-founder and chief creative officer, underscored the brand’s role in supporting volleyball talent from youth to pro.

“We’re excited to partner with League One Volleyball and to support the incredible community they’re building from youth players all the way to the professional stage,” Kardashian said. “Together, we look forward to inspiring confidence and empowering athletes at every level through innovative products, community activations, and storytelling that celebrates the athletes on and off the court.”

The LOVB partnership follows a series of high-profile moves by the reality star turned business mogul, to expand Skims’ presence in women’s sports. Earlier this year, her $4 billion brand teamed up with Nike to launch NikeSkims, a line of training apparel, footwear, and accessories for female athletes. The collaboration builds on Nike’s broader push to grow its women’s business, highlighted in its Super Bowl LIX “So Win” campaign which featured stars like Caitlin Clark, Sha’Carri Richardson, A’ja Wilson, Sophia Smith and Jordan Chiles.
