Set Active Expands Its Fabric Line With Luxform

Set Active
The Los Angeles-based activewear brand has introduced its first new fabric since 2024

Set Active has introduced Luxform, a new fabric in its ultra popular activewear lineup. Designed to be sculpted and breathable, Luxform combines the softness of Set’s FormCloud material with the sleeker, more technical feel of Airluxe.

Founded in Los Angeles in 2018 by Lindsey Carter, Set Active has grown from a direct-to-consumer startup into a brand that has become increasingly visible in the activewear space. Its minimalist designs and “street-to-studio” aesthetic have attracted a wide audience, particularly among younger women. Set’s approach has been to build community around its products while steadily expanding its core fabric offerings.

Luxform is the brand’s first new fabric launch since Airluxe debuted in 2024. The initial drop includes three pieces in two colors, Onyx and Ruby, with additional shades and silhouettes planned for later this year.

FormCloud, one of the brand’s early materials, is touted for its softness and everyday wearability. Airluxe, launched in 2024, brought a more technical edge, offering lightweight breathability and medium compression for performance-focused movement. Luxform lands in the middle ground: soft with a sculpted feel for both workouts and daily wear.

“Luxform is the legging I’ve been searching for my whole life, not to be dramatic,” said Carter. “It feels silky and luxurious, but it’s built for movement, whether that’s a workout, a long walk, or running around all day. The stretch and recovery are unmatched, and it smooths and sculpts in a way that instantly makes me feel more toned. I’ll be honest, it even blurs my cellulite, which is something I’ve always been self-conscious about. The second I put them on, I feel confident, pulled-together, and ready for anything. That’s the magic of Luxform.”
