Apple Fitness+ kicked off the new year by unveiling its newest features, including a kickboxing workout, a sleep theme for meditations, a Beyoncé Artist Spotlight, new trainers, and more

Apple Fitness+ is helping make 2023 fitness and wellness resolutions easier with brand-new workouts and features on the app. Kickboxing was launched on January 9th, and is a brand-new total-body cardio workout type. The workout requires stamina, coordination, balance, and strength, and will be 10, 20, or 30 minutes long. Jamie-Ray Hartshorne will lead kickboxing, along with Nez Dally, both muay thai fighters.

Sleep is the newest addition to the Meditation library, and comes with a program called Introduction to Meditations for Sleep, which helps users wind down before bed and drift off to sleep. The introductory program consists of four 20-minute meditations that conclude with five minutes of relaxing music.

The newest Beyoncé Artist Spotlight includes songs from her latest album, RENAISSANCE, and will bring the singer’s music to life through workouts including Cycling, Dance, HIIT, Pilates, Strength, Treadmill, and Yoga. Time to Walk, an inspiring audio experience on iPhone and Apple Watch, will also include world famous guests, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Amber Ruffin, Olympic champion figure skater Nathan Chen, and German actor Nina Hoss. These influential figures share stories, photos, and music with Fitness+ users.

Lastly, Apple Fitness+ will also introduce two new Collections, curated content from the app’s library to help users go after their goals in 2023. The first, 6 Weeks to Restart Your Fitness, is designed to motivate users to build a new habit by working out every day, featuring a blend of workouts. The second is Level Up Your Core Training, which features 10- and 20-minute core workouts taken to the next level with the use of dumbbells.
