Vasa Fitness Brings Strength Program to More Clubs, National Expansion Set for 2026

Studio LFT’s expansion marks Vasa’s push into coach-led strength training as the corporate-owned chain invests in programs and amenities such as cold plunge tubs, infrared yoga and HIIT classes

Vasa Fitness is expanding Studio LFT, its boutique-style, strength-training program, to more clubs as demand for coach-led lifting sessions grows.

The Colorado-based operator said six existing Colorado clubs will add Studio LFT in 2025, bringing the program to 11 locations in the state. Five new clubs opening through December in Nebraska, Illinois and Indiana will also feature the program. Starting in 2026, all new Vasa locations will include Studio LFT, with additional retrofits planned in key markets.

“Strength training isn’t a trend—it’s essential for long-term health, resilience and self-confidence,” Vasa Fitness CEO Rich Nelsen said. “We developed Studio LFT to bring a high-impact, science-backed strength-training experience to the average gym-goer. By combining expert coaching, progressive programming and a motivating community environment, we’re making strength accessible to everyone—and the response has been incredible. We’re proud to expand this offering across our footprint and make it a cornerstone of the Vasa experience.”

Since launching in January, Studio LFT has been offered in four pilot clubs, where Vasa coaches led more than 3,000 classes in the first six months. Sessions averaged 12 to 16 participants, with more than 1,500 classes waitlisted, according to Vasa Fitness.

In addition to Studio LFT, Vasa offers Studio Red, a high-intensity interval training experience that features Myzone heart-rate tracking and Studio Flow, an infrared yoga class that promotes mobility, recovery and mindfulness.

The programming expansion comes as the fully-corporate owned Vasa Fitness adds other amenities designed to appeal to younger members. Last month, the company opened its fourth Colorado Springs club, the first in its system to feature a cold plunge tub alongside recovery offerings, including a sauna, steam room and red light therapy.
