In-Shape Teams With Korb Health To Offer GLP-1s & Health Services
As gyms embrace the “clinic meets club” model, In-Shape becomes the latest to offer members discounted GLP-1s and personalized medical care through Korb Health
In-Shape Family Fitness is expanding beyond the gym floor with a new partnership to integrate medical care into the member experience.
The California-based fitness chain, which operates 63 clubs across 16 networks statewide, has teamed up with Korb Health Group to offer GLP-1 weight loss treatments, as well as men’s and women’s health services. Dave Appel, chief health and fitness officer at Korb, announced the news on LinkedIn, calling the collaboration “a game-changer for holistic wellness.”
Beginning August 4, In-Shape members will receive discounted access to Korb’s clinical offerings, including GLP-1 weight loss medications like semaglutide, hormone therapy, mental health and hair loss treatment. Members will receive 25% off weight loss treatments.
The partnership marks the latest move in a growing industry trend: fusing clinical care with fitness in a “gym as a clinic” model. It also comes on the heels of the ATN Innovation Summit, where leaders from Dr. B, Anytime Fitness, Evolt and Life Time urged operators to seize the moment by integrating coaching, care and accountability for members using GLP-1s. Panelists emphasized that these medications are not a shortcut, but a starting point, and fitness brands have a critical role to play in helping members preserve muscle, track progress and build healthier lifestyles.
