In this role, you will lead the FP&A function for Athleta. You will be responsible for providing financial guidance to the leadership team, and leadership through data and analytics to guide the team. The team is responsible for leading financial performance management activities for Athleta, including the annual budget / operating plan, long-range plan, and monthly forecast. Using these activities as a foundation, they provide the executive leaders and other relevant stakeholders with forward-looking financial projections, performance perspective, and foundations for optimal decision-making.

-Lead a breadth of financial capabilities in a complex, highly matrixed organization
-Deliver financials for the company, whether related to financial close, internal or external reporting, or analysis for key stakeholders
-Assist in preparation of presentations that provide analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made
-Deliver accurate financial results, including analysis of key expenses during the budget, forecast and close processes
-Provide financial support and analysis to internal groups such as Marketing, HR, Stores, Digital, and Real Estate
-Develop relationships to be a trusted business advisor with partners and cross functional teams at all levels of the organization
-Influence company decisions and initiatives
-Responsible for planning, budget and end results; enforces policies for subfunction/function
-Understanding of key retail financial line items and how to influence
-Fluidity with statements and the financial close process
-High level of individual accountability and collaboration
-High level of emotional intelligence and executive presence; interpersonal and communication skills
-Passion for developing high performing teams
-Experience leading through change and enabling a fiscally responsible mindset
-Understanding of financial systems and tools, including excel (ERP, Hyperion, Essbase, Business Intelligence tools)
-10+ years of experience in finance
-MBA, or CPA a plus
