Banding Together: Deuser Sports and Straffr Partner

The two fitness equipment makers are merging tradition and technology in the resistance band space and have fitness products in the pipeline

Fitness equipment maker Deuser Sports has partnered with smart resistance band leader Straffr and is kicking off their collaboration with a new product — the Deuser x Straffr Digital and Connected Bundle.

The partnership builds on Deuser Sports’ signature resistance bands, which have been a go-to product for whole-body workouts in both professional and amateur sports, as well as physiotherapy. Straffr adds a tech-forward element, having mastered the smart resistance band space by incorporating sensors that capture movement data and deliver real-time feedback and personalized workouts via an app, which is now available to Deuser customers.

“With Straffr, we are bringing Deuser into the digital age,” Deuser CEO Volker Einbeck said. “Together, we offer a training concept that combines effectiveness, durability, and modern technology.”

According to the companies, additional products are in the works for the future.
